Have been asked to race next year in an all girl team for charity….very exciting - can’t say much at the moment but its gonna be oh so cool!!!

Would like to head over and watch the race this year so can be ahead of the game and have some pre-testing knowledge too. Will see how the trading and ebook sales go too. Another Update

Just hired another guy who’s gonna do a full SEO service on both web sites so should see some progress with sales sometime very soon - can’t wait!! In the mean time have taken some design work for the interim stage so can earn some much needed money!

German Grand Prix - what a great race : )

Happily the German Grand Prix was one of the best races I have seen! Lots of action, lots of over-taking, skillful driving and hard racing…..FANTASTIC!!

Getting There

Well I’m feelin like things are moving on now - finally! I have been really focussed on making a new life for myself. I have been working very long hours for a very long time but now I think I’m getting somewhere with all of this : ) As you know the plan is to make some proper money and pay for my racing, to trade full time and make money online. I know I can make good money from trading the Forex - hence being really focussed on writing the ebook and finishing the project. But its nearly there - I have just secured my first affiliate based on the ebook, my knowledge of Forex trading and my racing career the fact that I have followed my heart and am making my dreams come true (thats way too cheesy!!!!!). Its great to have the things I enjoy and new challenges surrounding me. I have the ability to work hard I know I can use this to make things happen for me.

Had a couple of random emails about racing opportunities recently which I’m quantifying and a few emails from interested women looking to be involved with racing - which is fantastic!! There is a great series called the Uniroyal Fun Cup. Its great as the races are mostly endurance and you race in teams. It keeps the cost down as bugets are split between all drivers and the racing is awesome!! Check out www.funcup.co.uk

I have found trading to be great! The challenge of being mechanical in your thinking and attitude to placing a trade is a big draw. I have also been told (and the more I think about it the more I agree) that as a race driver I am already involved in situations where it is imperative I am mechanical in my thinking! As a racer I approach the sport keeping my emotions in check and the general plan is to make all decisions with the least emotional influence.

I can see myself trading Forex for a very long time to come - have a look for yourself…….its such a great field to be involved with!!!!!!! How about setting up a trading club with your friends and learn from each other but don’t forget every one will trade slightly differently. Keep On Running

After spent hours downloading shareware mixes to keep me in tune on the treadmill/cross trainer I’ve just stumbled across podcasts on itunes and guess what I found - free and fast downloads………………PODRUNNER!!!!!! : ) How cool is that! I’m very excited….mixes to run to by US DJ Steve Boyett based on varying bpm depending on your workout. Its amazing how much faster and further you can run to loud fast kickin tribal beats….

OK so I haven’t written for awhile

So its been a crazy multi-tasking time - although the goal never changes…..I want to be out there racing. Since my last blog I have:

- Had a blast round a track (a timed event) but miss the competition…where is everybody??
- Mostly been working 18 hour days.
- Continued working on an ebook to raise some money for racing (its on financial trading - Foreign Exchange…..fascinating stuff - will be well worth a read)
- Paper trading and learning a new platform by GFT called Dealbook 360 so when the ebook is published and hopefully bringing in some money I can trade early in the day - freeing up my time for training, testing and sponsorship commitments.
- Continuing my design work including working on the new Madame Tussauds in Berlin and working on design/construction drawings for the refurbishment of an advertising agency in Central London…u’know..its the thing I do at the moment which keeps a roof overhead, money coming, so I can do the other things which will one day soon enable me to be fully out there…..and beating you all.
- Written 2 sponsorship proposals
- Networking like crazy
- Immersed myself in branding/marketing knowledge so I can write a better sposorship proposal and have more of an understanding of the business of sport. As a driver I think its my responsibility to ensure I have done my homework before approaching sponsors. It also means I can have more of an equal/researched conversation regarding their return on the investment.
- Attended a brilliant ‘Women In Sport’ conference in London.
- Still working out too - I love being really fit and am very competitve with myself in the gym….I know I can be very fit and deceptively strong!

And have met some amazing and inspiring people….who totally ROCK!!

I want to change my life - to be able to train, race full time and make myself available to my sponsors.

A huge THANK-YOU to everyone who has helped me, commented on this blog page, advised me, stood by and offered guidance and just been there….

Never giving up on my ambitions and dreams - they are still as strong as ever…..
